Samantha Calvert – violinist
I had the pleasure of photographing Samantha Calvert, as she performed to a private audience. Her outstanding violin skills amazed the audience.
Samantha is a sought after violinist and goes by the name of “Violin Sammy”. She performs regularly as a soloist and as a core member of the “Australian Pop Quartet” who’s performances have been broadcasted live around the world as part of the soccer World Cup.
Samantha has worked and toured with artists such as Delta Goodrem, James Blunt, Damien Leith, Bliss n Eso, Jessica Maulboy, Il Divo and many more. She regularly performs on live Tv at the Logies, Arias, AFL Grand Final, Footy Show, Dancing with the Stars and Australia’s Got Talent. Samantha comes from a family of violinist’s so music is in her blood, and she has always had a natural aptitude for performing.
